About us
Honoka’a Chocolate Co is a branch-to-bar chocolate factory and retail store in downtown Honoka’a on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. We make world-class award-winning chocolate using only the finest cocoa beans and cane sugar, and have won 18 international awards within the past two years. We also focus on developing trusting relationships with our cacao producers who grow and do all of the preprocessing of the cacao beans.

Chocolate Sales Associate
Full and part time positions
As a Chocolate Sales Associate, you will become an expert on everything about chocolate from where it’s grown, how it’s made and its different tasting profiles. You will share your knowledge with our customers, lead chocolate tastings, and help customers select and purchase their preferred chocolate. Additional responsibilities include shipping orders to online and wholesale customers and restocking the storefront.
Salary range: $15 to $18/hr + tips + benefits
Chocolate Maker Apprentice
Full and part time positions
As a Chocolate Maker Apprentice, you will learn everything about award-winning, fine chocolate including where it is grown, how it is processed, and how it’s made. You will become proficient at operating and maintaining our world-class, Italian-made chocolate machines, and working with different chocolate recipes. Other responsibilities include inventory control, shipping and receiving.
Salary range: $16 to $18/hr + benefits
Requirements
Mature, team-oriented, organized with a keen attention to detail.Excited to learn and share your passion for chocolate.
Desire to grow with HCC and take on additional responsibility.
Have own transportation.
High school students considered with a valid work permit.
